The UK capital is renowned worldwide for its historical and cultural significance. As you’d expect, this includes a whole host of amazing venues for any occasion. Unsurprisingly, organisers of events in London often feel overwhelmed by sheer choice.
But fear not! I’m here to guide you through a few of my current personal favourites. There’s way too many to cram into just one article. So, I’ve cherry-picked a few hotels and venues I’ve recently visited in person. Each one is unique and full of character, ensuring there's something for every preference, purse and event type.
The Landmark London – Elegant and Opulent
Where? Near Marylebone Station

This majestic hotel’s easy accessibility makes it a dream venue for events in London, without sacrificing an ounce of grandeur. You’ll want to pay close attention if imposing spaces and sumptuous ballrooms are your thing. In addition, they’re complemented by a fleet of some of the largest hotel bedrooms I’ve ever seen, (which means particularly big by London standards!). Better still, half the rooms face in towards the High Palms and new Champagne Bar. Ideal for people watching and taking in the size and scale of this queen (or king) of a property.
Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel - Victorian Grandeur Meets Modern Chic
Where? Russell Square

· Speaking of royalty, take a look at this jewel in Bloomsbury’s crown, blending historic architecture with contemporary style. It commands attention from the outside, while the interior is all mod cons and comforts. This gorgeous hotel provides a backdrop of heritage splendour filled with natural light, making it an impressive setting for both intimate and large-scale events in London.
Hotel ME London – An Architectural Magnum Opus

· ME London is celebrating a decade of art, music, and design. And there’s plenty to party about. It offers an experiential stay, with avant-garde design, a choice of super-stylish meeting and event spaces, and panoramic views of the Thames and London's skyline from the 10th floor Radio Rooftop. This is the venue for you if modern design, sophistication, and sheer class are top of your wish list. I seldom use the words jaw-dropping, but this hotel truly is.
BMA House – Timeless Sophistication
Where? Tavistock Square
Event Capacity – Reception 320, Seated Dining 200, Conferencing 290
· This majestic Grade II listed building was designed by the eminent Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1911. 100+ years later, it’s a perfect venue for corporate events in London, where state-of-the-art meets stunning architecture. Plus, there’s the spacious Courtyard and serene Garden, which can be used for summer events in the capital’s heart, a strolling distance from Euston and King’s Cross. What an inspiring setting for any gathering!
Central Hall Westminster – London Legacy Exemplified
Where? Storey’s Gate (think Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament)

· The word iconic is used too generously these days, But the Central Hall Westminster is a bona fide London icon. It’s known for its scale and versatility, with 23 varied rooms which have hosted many cultural and historical events in London between them. When you’re looking for a dazzling events venue combining heritage with ultra- modern functionality, you’ve come to the right place.
London Transport Museum – Your Ticket to Immersive Events
Where? Wellington Street, Covent Garden
